If any of you have been attending ECHO this year, it's highly unlikely that you've missed the man, the blogger, the social media social-light, Tim Schraeder!
- Tim has pulled out his laptop.
- Looks like he's opening safari.
- Yep, he did. (I'm a chrome guy, so I'll try not to judge)
- He's gone to his wordpress account at timschraeder.com
- he's logging into his admin account.
- I thing I have the same password for my account.
- He's started a new post titled, "ECHO 10 :: Todd Wagner" (anyone know if @timschaeder invented the double-colon?)
- He's got tweetie pulled up.a
- Another tab he's pulled up twitter.com
- He's typing something I can't quite make out.
- Now he's looking at Todd Wagner
- Now back to his laptop as he types away furiously.
- Tabbed over to his twitter account.
- browsing his followers, seeing if any of them are worth following back.
- I think I can see smoke drifting up from his keyboard from the speed of his typing.
- Looking back up at Todd. (he only looks up when Todd takes a breath between sentences)
- It's worth noting that Tim doesn't auto-hid his dock.
- OH! He's pulled out his iPhone4! Now' he's thumbing through some apps.
- He's not conversing with @kemmeyer, who's sitting 2 seats away.
- Back to his keyboard.
- Checking out some twitter profiles.
- Now back to his.
- Now back to another.
- Now back to his.
- He sips some of his coffee (I speculate that there may be some gin in it.)
- He's running an image search for Todd Wager.
- Wisely uses quote marks (" ") around "Todd Wager".
- He's looking for one that's 300x400 px
- Opens up photoshop
- Inserts Wagner's photo next to the Echo 2010 banner
- checks a DM from @justinwise
- Back to his wp account.
- went back to his image search tab and apple-x'd that sucka!
- then back to his wp post
- oh-oh! Todd started talking too fast, and Tim has taken the opportunity to rest his fingers for 10 seconds
- Now he's checking Stat-checker.
- Now he's reading Don Miller's Blog at donmilleris.com
- He's correcting his spelling on one line, while simultaneously typing on another line, while simultaneously tweeting, AND simultaneously emailing!! ZOMG!!
- Now he's checking his facebook.
- He's turned around to give @locustfist a dirty look
- Now he's looking at REWORK blog.
- Now he's checking tweetie.
- He's uses exposé to look at all his open apps before picking safari again (don't judge firefox & chrome users).
- As Todd moves along, tim winds down. I think. I'll be honest. I'm not keeping up. Tim can surf, ingest, read, respond to his extensive online community and all the while copy & paste from his ears, through his brain to his fingers, via the bullet points that riddle his website with such sweet, sweet notes, that only frustrate and yet blow his peers away. As Vince Vaugh put it, "I pure straight HATE you Ron Burgandy! ...But [dude] do I RESPECT you!"
Thank you Tim for all the live-blogging you do!!! You complete me ...um , I mean MY, my sentences (because I didn't catch the end of that last sentence). I look forward to reading the notes from Todd Wager, because I honestly had too much fun live-blogging Mr. Live-Blogger to pay attention (which I know I'll regret).
